The sewn layer changes rim feel and can add grip texture compared with a smooth worn factory surface. It also collects hand oils, dust and flattened nap over time, especially at the most-used positions.

Heated-wheel expectation

Adding a textile layer can reduce or slow the heat felt at the hands. This cover does not add heating and cannot guarantee unchanged heated-wheel performance.

Clean and centerDegrease the factory rim gently, dry fully and align 12 o?¡¥clock plus all spoke openings.
Secure temporarilyUse the supplied double-sided tape only after the pattern is confirmed; keep it away from controls and seams.
Stitch evenlyWork in short alternating sections, keeping tension firm but not tight enough to distort the cover.
Tuck carefullyUse the supplied tool around spoke trim without scratching surfaces or obstructing buttons.
Finish and inspectTie off thread securely, trim excess and check the entire rim for loose areas or interference.

Clean lightly and early.

Routine care

Use clean dry hands, vacuum with a soft brush and wipe lightly with a white microfiber cloth dampened with water. Let the material air-dry, then raise the nap gently.

Avoid

Do not saturate the cover, scrub aggressively, use household solvent or apply oily leather conditioner. Test any Alcantara-compatible cleaner on an inconspicuous area.

Does it fit Model 3 Highland or Model Y Juniper?

No compatible option for those refresh-generation wheels is currently listed.

Will it affect the steering-wheel heater?

The added textile layer can reduce or slow perceived heat. No unchanged-heating guarantee is made.

Do I need to remove the steering wheel or airbag?

The cover is intended to be sewn over the installed rim; wheel or airbag removal is not part of the stated installation. Keep tape, thread and tools clear of controls and the airbag area.

Can I return it after sewing?

Dry-fit and confirm style before tape or stitching. Sewn, taped, marked or used covers may not qualify; review the current refund policy before installation.
