Why Replace Your 12V Lead-Acid Battery?

A weak 12V battery can cause warning alerts, failed vehicle wake-up, locking issues, or charging problems.

Stable 12V Power

Supports vehicle controls, door locks, lights, displays, and communication modules.

Vehicle-Specific Fit

12V 45Ah specification for compatible Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.

Reliable Wake-Up

Powers essential control modules and helps activate the high-voltage system.

Note: Verify the original battery type, model, and terminal layout before ordering.

WILL THIS FIT?

Fits vehicles originally equipped with a 12V lead-acid low-voltage battery.

1

Check the Screen. Go to Controls ?¨² Software ?¨² Additional Vehicle Information ?¨² Low Voltage Battery Type. It must show Lead-Acid. If it shows Lithium-ion, this product will not fit.

2

Check the Battery Label. Confirm 12V lead-acid, Reference OE #1129182-00-B, and the correct model. Match the terminal layout and vent connection before ordering.

3

Beware of 2021 Transition Batches. Production changed during late 2021. Always verify the low-voltage battery type and OE part number before ordering. Send a photo of the battery label and your VIN to support@tesery.com if you are unsure.

KEY FEATURES

OEM number 1129182-00-B

Direct replacement for the 12V lead-acid battery Tesla fitted as part number 1129182-00-B. Match the stamp on your current battery before installing.

Keeps the low-voltage system alive

Powers computers, locks, windows, and safety modules while the high-voltage pack is asleep. A weak LV battery is a common reason the car will not wake or shows a service alert.

Not a 16V lithium swap

12V lead-acid cars use a different connector and charging strategy. Always verify your vehicle has a lead-acid battery before ordering.

Install with the service procedure

Isolate low-voltage power as Tesla specifies, then fit the pack in the frunk location. Professional install is strongly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I know if my Tesla needs a new 12V auxiliary battery?

¡§? Details

Tesla will typically display a low-voltage battery or service alert on your center touchscreen. Sluggish door handles, unresponsive key cards, or display delays can also indicate battery degradation.

Q: Will this battery fit 2021 Model 3 or Model Y vehicles?

¡§? Details

Production changed during late 2021. Tesla switched from lead-acid to lithium-ion low-voltage batteries. Always verify the low-voltage battery type and OE part number before ordering. Check your vehicle screen: Controls ?¨² Software ?¨² Additional Vehicle Information ?¨² Low Voltage Battery Type. It must show "Lead-Acid".

Q: Does this battery require programming or software calibration after installation?

¡§? Details

A like-for-like replacement using the same 12V lead-acid battery type generally does not require battery registration. If a different battery model is installed, vehicle configuration may be required.

Q: What happens if the 12V battery dies completely before I replace it?

¡§? Details

If the 12V battery is completely depleted, the electronic door latches and frunk latch will not operate. You will need to jump-power the front trunk release wires behind the tow eye cover to access and replace the battery.
