FACIA Sunglasses Holder Organizer for Model YL Interior Rearview Mirror Large Capacity
Frequently Bought Together
Overhead Sunglasses Holder for Tesla Model YL 2026+
This overhead organizer utilizes the empty space behind your Model YL's inside rearview mirror, turning it into immediate, secure, and completely invisible storage.
Key Features
Large Capacity for Oversized Frames
The internal cavity is generously sized to accommodate most full-size adult sunglasses. It fully leverages the vertical space behind the mirror without adding bulk that interferes with your sun visors or forward visibility.
Full Interior for Scratch Prevention
Every inner surface is coated with a dense, velvety flocking material. This soft cushioning barrier isolates your lenses and polished frames from hard plastic contact, preventing micro-scratches even during aggressive cornering or rough roads.
Rigid ABS Outer Shell for Impact Protection
The case exterior is molded from high-quality ABS. It protects against accidental knocks, items sliding from the rear cargo area, and the general chaos of a family vehicle. The shell also resists heat deformation, maintaining its shape even when the cabin bakes in direct sunlight.
Purpose-Molded Clip for the Interior Center Mirror
This holder is not a universal clip-on. The mounting mechanism has been scanned and engineered to precisely fit the stem and housing of the Tesla Model YL's inside center rearview mirror. It snaps on with a firm, spring-loaded grip and stays completely stationary ?a no drooping, no shifting, no rattling, regardless of road conditions.

Precise Fitment

Tesla Model YL ?a 2026+
Note: This holder is meticulously designed to match the mirror stem and housing of the 2026+ Model YL. It will not fit previous Model Y generations or other Tesla models.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it block my forward view or the auto-dimming function?
No. The holder is sculpted to sit fully behind the mirror body and does not peek out into your forward sightline. It also does not cover the rear-facing light sensor or the auto-dimming element on the mirror face. Everything works exactly as it did from the factory.
Does it interfere with the sun visors?
Zero interference. The location behind the mirror allows both driver and passenger sun visors to be extended and rotated fully without touching the case. We validated clearance throughout the entire motion range during design.
Can it hold extra-thick frames or glasses with a case?
It easily accommodates thick acetate frames and oversized sports sunglasses. However, it is not designed to close around a separate rigid glasses case. Glasses are placed directly inside the flocked interior, which provides all the protection they need.
Will the clip scratch the original mirror plastic?
The clamp features soft, rubberized contact pads at every touch point. When installed and removed as directed, it leaves absolutely no marks, impressions, or scratches on the mirror housing.
Does it rattle when driving over rough pavement?
Not at all. The clip applies constant, even tension, and the ABS shell is inert. There is no loose hardware to vibrate, so you get complete silence from this accessory.
